アメリカ・ニューヨークの冬の風物詩、ロックフェラーセンターの巨大クリスマスツリー点灯式が行われた。
マンハッタンの中心にある、世界一有名なクリスマスツリーを一目見ようと、多くの人が集まっている。高さ２３メートルのツリーに５万個を超えるＬＥＤライトがつけられている。
今年のツリーは、隣のペンシルベニア州から届いた樹齢８０年を超える木で、一番上の部分では星形のライトが輝きを見せている。
