উড়ন্ত প্লেনের পেছনে যে লম্বা সাদা ধোঁয়ার মতো দাগ দেখা যায়, অনেকেই একে Chemtrail ভেবে ভুল করেন।
আসলে এটি সম্পূর্ণ বৈজ্ঞানিক একটি বিষয়, যার নাম Contrail (Condensation Trail)।
৩০–৪০ হাজার ফুট উচ্চতায় তাপমাত্রা থাকে –৫০° সেলসিয়াসের নিচে। সেই উচ্চতায় প্লেনের ইঞ্জিন থেকে বের হওয়া গরম পানি-বাষ্প হঠাৎ ঠান্ডা বাতাসে গিয়ে বরফের কণায় পরিণত হয়। এই বরফের কণাগুলোই আকাশে মেঘের মতো সাদা লম্বা ট্রেইল তৈরি করে।
