Sami Zayn’s conspiracy started a war with Kevin Owens. Both Kevin and Sami entered the 2021 Elimination Chamber. Kevin entered, Sami tried to appeal to their history. Suggested they temporarily cooperate, arguing that they known each other too long to fight when they could fight together. Kevin didn’t accept and hit him with the stunner to eliminate him. Then he got eliminated by Jey Uso. A month later, Sami asked Kevin to watch his match against King Corbin and judge for himself whether they were conspiring against him. Kevin told Sami that he kept twisting events to support his argument and never accepted responsibility for losing. Sami referred to the people working against him and Kevin asked him to identify them. Sami promised that if nothing suspicious happens, he will stop discussing the conspiracy. Sami went for Corbin’s eye, placed his feet on the ropes and exposed the turnbuckle. The ref caught him and Corbin hit him with the End of Days to win the match. Kevin told Sami that he watched closely and there was no evidence of a conspiracy. Then Sami caught Kevin with the Helluva Kick and accused him of being blind to what was happening. Kevin called out Sami a week later. He apologized for kicking him and wanted to recruit him. His documentary would expose the company and announced that Logan Paul will attend its red-carpet premiere. Kevin didn’t care about any of those. He wanted a match at WrestleMania. Sami tried to avoid it and Kevin kept pushing him until he accepted. Then Kevin attacked Sami and hit him with the stunner. Logan appeared next week. Sami expected him to support his claims, but Logan admitted that he spoke with Kevin and suggested that Sami might be allowing the conspiracy theory to consume him. Sami became defensive because he was questioning him. Then Kevin appeared and hit him with the Stunner. A week later, Sami went to Logan’s training camp and asked for his support. Then Kevin attacked him again. They met at WrestleMania, where Kevin won with the Stunner. Then Logan raised Kevin’s arm, who hit him with a stunner. They had a rematch on Smackdown. Kevin went for the stunner, Sami countered him, rolled out of the ring and abandoned the match. Then Kevin threw him inside the ring and hit him with the stunner. A week later, Kevin faced Apollo Crews for the Intercontinental Title. Commander Azeez distracted Kevin and Crews rolled him up to retain the title. Then Kevin hit him with the stunner and Azeez hit him with the Nigerian Nail. Next week, Big E faced Crews for the same title. Azeez attacked Big E, ending in a DQ. Then Kevin attacked him, Sami appeared with the Helluva Kick and Azeez hit him with the Nigerian Nail. All four met for the title three weeks later. Aleister Black attacked Big E and Crews retained. Kevin got attacked by Azeez two weeks later and he got a shot at the title with Azeez barred from ringside. Crews slammed Kevin on the apron to retain the title. Then Sami attacked Kevin. There was a tag team match two weeks later, where Kevin hit Sami with the stunner to win the match. Then Crews wanted to team up with Azeez instead. They met a week later. Kevin got distracted by Sami and Azeez hit him with the Nigerian Nail to win the match. Then Azeez hit him with another Nigerian Nail, Sami called it a karmic punishment and Kevin demanded a match with him. They met at Hell in a Cell, where Sami won with the Helluva Kick. They had a Last Man Standing match a week later. Kevin put Sami through the announce table, put him through a normal table and hit him with a powerbomb on the apron. Sami couldn’t get up and Kevin won.
