Jeffrey Epstein’s possible suicide note released by judge in case tied to ex-cellmate

A federal judge has released a suicide note allegedly written by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, that has been unsealed as part of a criminal case against his former cellmate.

“They investigated me for months — FOUND NOTHING!!!” the note reads, adding that the result was charges going back several years.

“It is a treat to be able to choose one’s time to say goodbye,” the note continues.

“Watcha want me to do — Bust out cryin!!” it reads.

“NO FUN,” it concludes, underlining those words. “NOT WORTH IT!!”

Epstein’s cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglione, a convicted quadruple murderer, said he discovered the note in July 2019 after Epstein was found unresponsive with a piece of cloth wrapped around his neck in his first suicide attempt. He survived that incident, but was eventually found dead weeks later at the age of 66 in the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Lower Manhattan before standing trial for the sex trafficking of minors.

Judge Kenneth M. Karas of the Federal District Court in White Plains, NY, made the note public on Wednesday.

The document was previously sealed even as the Justice Department released millions of pages related to Epstein in a move of transparency.
