Webinar # 4: Building Bridges- Friendship Gardens from the Post-War Era

130 Years of Public Japanese Gardens in the U.S. is 14-part webinar series co-presented and funded by The Japan Foundation that seeks to uncover the history, development and future of public Japanese gardens in the United States.

Webinar # 4 premiered on March 11th, 2021 and featured gardens with sister city relationships. Webinar speakers are: Kim Andrews, Executive Director of Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia, Jessa Gardner, Japanese Garden Program Manager at Arboretum Foundation, and Luanne Kanzawa, Executive Director of Japanese Friendship Garden of San Diego. They each shared the history and development of their garden.
