The David Rockefeller Bridging Leadership Award honors those that exhibit leadership which promotes trust and collaboration to bridge divides and find inclusive solutions to today’s most critical challenges: poverty, climate change, and social injustice.
Darren Walker, President of the Ford Foundation, was presented with the award by Michael R. Bloomberg, Founder of Bloomberg LP and Bloomberg Philanthropies, for his ability to reach across divides and his dedication to social justice work, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Alyse Nelson, Co-Founder and CEO of Vital Voices Global Partnership, was presented with the award by Zainab Salbi, a Synergos board and Co-founder of Daughters for Earth, for her work strengthening women’s leadership around the world, mobilizing more than 20,000 women leaders around 184 countries.
